Singapore Phenome Centre (SPC) is one of the research centres in LKCMedicine. SPC is hiring a Senior Scientific Officer to generate metabolomics data for phenotyping experiments.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct NMR related projects
• Assist Principal Investigator in structure elucidation
• Metabolite extraction from clinical and environmental samples
• Analyze clinical and environmental samples using NMR
• Operate UPLC-QTOF, UPLC-TQ and NMR for metabolomics using standard operation protocol
• Writing project reports and any other tasks as assigned by the reporting officer

Requirements:

• Candidates should have a PhD/Master degree in analytical chemistry with emphasis in NMR technology
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team player
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are critical
• Strict adherence to confidentiality policy and research ethics

This is a 2 years contract appointment.
