The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) is inviting applications for the position ofResearch Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on the production of self-healing cement additive and its applications.

Job Requirements:

• PhD in Engineering, Material Science or Chemistry.
• Strong academic standing with several publications in reputable journals.
• Good English speaking and writing skills.
• Strong references from previous supervisors.
• Previous experience in chemical synthesis and analysis, concrete sample preparation, mechanical testing and microstructural characterization (XRD, TGA, FTIR and SEM-EDX).
• Additional experience in UHPC and carbon-based material in concrete would be preferable, but not required.
