The Management Associate Programme (MAP) is the University's flagship programme offering entry-level candidates the opportunity to a meaningful non-academic career in the higher education sector. As a world-class research university, NTU enables you to achieve your career aspirations with diverse job rotation opportunities, structured development programmes, and exposure to different facets of university management. Working with NTU's faculty and researchers, you can be the driving force that strengthens NTU's four core pillars: education, research, innovation, and community.

The 2-year programme comprises of structured job rotations, on-the-job training and leadership development opportunities and is designed to help you gain critical knowledge and exposure to embark on a rewarding career with NTU.

Upon completion of the programme, you will join one of NTU's departments and develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in an area that interests you. During the programme, you may look forward to:

  • Developing skills and gaining exposure through at least two postings to a broad spectrum of roles, including departments in NTU's corporate functions (e.g. Information Technology, Finance, Communications, Student & Academic Services, colleges/schools and research centres.)
  • Curated onboarding programme to prepare you for a career in the higher education sector
  • Exposure beyond NTU including secondment opportunities and overseas learning journeys.
  • Leadership development and opportunities
  • Regular engagement with senior leaders of NTU
  • Opportunities to be mentored by senior leaders


Requirements:

This programme is for entry-level candidates and working professionals with less than 3 years of working experience. Candidates from diverse disciplines of study are welcomed to apply.

We are looking for all-rounded individuals who have a high level of drive and resourcefulness, the ability to influence, the tenacity to create impact, and who are team players. You should also possess keen analytical abilities and good interpersonal communication skills.

Please note that successful candidates will commence appointment in July 2024.
