Cyber Research Programme Office (CRPO) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and lead the development of new business avenues, exploring innovative strategies and market opportunities to expand the CyberSG's reach and influence within the cybersecurity domain.
  • Formulate and execute robust recruitment strategies to attract and onboard new members within the cybersecurity community.
  • Establish and nurture a thriving community by actively engaging and retaining members, leveraging various online and offline platforms and strategies.
  • Forge partnerships and collaborations with industry leaders, associations, and organizations to foster growth and establish the company's footprint within the cybersecurity sector.
  • Engage in networking activities, events, and conferences to expand the community and establish the CyberSG' as a leading authority within the cybersecurity landscape.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aimed at expanding the business, achieving recruitment targets, and nurturing an active and engaged cybersecurity community.
  • Regularly assess and adapt recruitment and business strategies to remain competitive and responsive to market changes and community needs.
  • Lead and coordinate a team to execute business pioneering and recruitment initiatives, ensuring alignment with the CyberSG's goals and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
  • Foster a positive team culture, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and the sharing of knowledge to achieve common business and recruitment objectives.
  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of events, such as conferences, webinars, and training courses.
  • Engage in thorough market research to discern emerging Cyber Security trends across industries and functions.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security experts, thought leaders, and stakeholders to secure dynamic and influential speakers for these events.
  • Develop compelling event content and promotional materials with a specific emphasis on addressing urgent Cyber Security concerns.
  • Manage and ensure the success of on-site Cyber Security conferences held in diverse locations, collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Run events on-site in various locations, ensuring their success and gathering feedback for continual improvement.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
  • Over 10 years of experience in event management, with a strong background and a minimum of 8 years' involvement in the Cyber Security industry.
  • Experience in devising strategic plans, identifying new business opportunities, and leading innovative initiatives in the Cyber Security industry.
  • Proven track record in implementing effective recruitment strategies, fostering community engagement, and attracting Cyber Security talent.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to build partnerships with industry stakeholders, associations, and organizations, expanding the influence in the Cyber Security sector.
  • Experience in managing various Cyber Security-focused events, such as conferences, webinars, and training courses, is required.
  • Ability to navigate professional online platforms.
  • Capable of conducting market research, assessing event success, and driving continuous improvement strategies to enhance future initiatives within the Cyber Security domain.
