- work 3 to 4 days a week, office hours

- Pay: $20/hr

Job Scope:

Sample Management

• Assists Research Technologist –in laboratory kit preparation.
• Ensures biological samples are processed in accordance with protocol requirements, good clinical and laboratory practice and standard operating procedures.
• Ensures all samples are labelled correctly.
• Ensures all samples are stored in accordance to protocol requirements or instructions provided. 
• Performs data entry and verification of data. 
• Maintains accurate and detailed records to reflect current workflow processes.
• Assists in sample packing and performs quality checks on shipping documents.
• Ensures the temperature-controlled products (e.g. products in clinical fridges and freezers) are maintained within the required temperature range.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Life Sciences/Biomedical Science/ Biotechnology or currently on undergrad studies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility in work outlook. 
• Ability to work independently.
