Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) is looking for a candidate to join them as Research Associate who can help with data collection and analyses, and the writing of the manuscript of a research project on AI and digital advertising.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in research activities including conceptualization and planning of research projects
• Lead/assist in data gathering (including focus group discussions and surveys) and analysis for relevant projects using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Actively contribute to data analyses and the writing of academic research manuscript
• Lead the writing of reports
• Undertake any additional administrative duties as required by the supervisor

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Communication Studies, Psychology or related field in the social sciences
• Applicants with 1 or more years of work experience in social sciences research will be preferred. However, fresh post-graduates are welcome to apply.
• Demonstrable intellectual excellence and capacity to work with others independently
• Good project management skills, with multi-tasking ability
• Academic writing skills
• Experience with social scientific research (e.g., focus group discussions, interviews, online surveys, data analysis using SPSS)
