Job Title: Solutions Architect

Job Overview:

Our insurance company is in search for a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to design, implement, and maintain technology solutions that support our business needs.

The Solutions Architect will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze their needs and develop innovative solutions that enhance our operations and customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement technology solutions that support the insurance industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and development teams, to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze current technology platforms, systems, and processes to determine areas for improvement and develop proposals for optimization.
• Develop technical documentation, including solution designs, project plans, system diagrams, and integration architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct training and coaching sessions for developers and technical staff.
• Evaluate emerging technologies in the insurance industry and assess their potential impact on the organization.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, with a strong focus on the insurance industry.
• Young and dynamic candidates.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance industry technologies, such as policy administration systems, claims processing, and underwriting tools.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Experience with designing and implementing scalable and reliable solutions that meet regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
• Excellent communication in English and Japanese ( minimum JLPT N3/N2 is required ) and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver solutions within tight deadlines.

Tech Skills

• Expertise in microservices architectures and containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, and Node.js.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.
• Experience working with APIs and integrating systems using RESTful web services.
• Understanding of data integration technologies and ETL tools like Alteryx.  Reporting tools like PowerBI.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, and C#.
• Knowledge of web technologies JavaScript, reverse proxy servers, etc.,
• Experience working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
