The Cloud Application and Platform (CAP) Group from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking 1 motivated Research Fellow in the topic of "Digital Twin for Advanced Battery Analytics".

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing physics-based and data-driven models to characterize battery electrochemical process;
• Design and implement algorithms for predicting electrical data at various nodes in the power system;
• Build a simulation platform for emergency scenarios with predictive maintenance features;
• Supervising junior graduate students;
• Writing technical reports, including papers, patents and technical disclosures;
• Working closely with team members/engineers and assist in developing new features;
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications;
• Diagnosing the issue and resolving it on demand.

Job Requirements:

• PhD Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information system or a related discipline;
• Strong research record, preferably on top-tier computer science/engineering conferences;
• Proficiency with Python and relevant packages, like NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch or Tensorflow;
• Excellent verbal communication skills and good problem solving skills;
• Attention to detail.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
