We are seeking a talented Digital Matte Painting Background Artist specializing in creating original world concepts and background paintings tailored for AAA mobile game art style. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with technical proficiency to design enchanting and magical environments that captivate young audiences while maintaining a high-quality aesthetic akin to AAA mobile games.

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate closely with the art director and design team to develop original world concepts and background paintings that align with the vision and target audience. 
• Create visually stunning and immersive environments that evoke a sense of wonder, magic, and beauty, while ensuring they are suitable and engaging for young children. 
• Incorporate elements of whimsy, charm, and imagination into the designs to appeal to children's sensibilities, while avoiding childish or simplistic aesthetics. 
• Utilize digital painting techniques, color theory, and composition principles to achieve polished and AAA-quality artwork. 
• Develop sketches, concepts, and mood boards to establish the visual direction and atmosphere of the game world. 

Requirements: 

• Proven experience as a Digital Matte Painting Background Artist or similar role in the film, television, animation, or gaming industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing original world concepts and background paintings. 
• Proficiency in digital painting software such as Adobe Photoshop, ClipStudio, Procreate, or similar tools. 
• Excellent understanding of color theory, lighting, perspective, and composition. 
• Strong artistic skills with the ability to create enchanting and magical environments suitable for children's AAA mobile games. 
• Experience working in a collaborative environment and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. 
• Passion for gaming, storytelling, and creating immersive experiences for young audiences. 

Education: 

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts, Animation, Game Design or related field preferred. 
• Relevant professional certifications or training courses in digital painting and concept art may be advantageous. 
• Any awards or recognition in digital painting, concept art, or related areas would be highly regarded.
