The role involves assessing and meeting SINDA’s needs through the recruitment, placement and retention of right fit volunteers and engaging /maintaining relationships with donors to support the organization’s initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as staff overseeing volunteer recruitment and training.
• Prepare documents and perform administrative tasks to support divisional and other SINDA-wide events.
• Develop and conduct Outreach Programmes and support event management
• Work with internal and external stakeholders
• Support Volunteer Management Programmes.
• Prepare progress reports and conduct volunteer assessments.
• Adherence to SOPs, Financial and Procurement guidelines
• Participate in Divisional and SINDA-wide events when required
• To perform other adhoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• A Degree in any discipline
• Min 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience managing volunteers.
• Experience in designing and conducting training would be an added advantage
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel for presentations
• Conduct data analysis using Excel/Power BI would be an added advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders across different levels.
• Resourceful, able to work independently and in a team with volunteers & community leaders
• Flexible to work on some weekday evenings and weekends

This is a 2-year contract position, convertible to a permanent role, subject to the performance and divisional requirements.
