JOB SCOPE:

• Assist in running the After School Engagement program
• Recommend and run activities based on clear psychological theories or educational principles
• Customize program according to students’ needs
• Submit a proposal for a structured programme based on modules containing at least 1 structured groupwork programme, 1 holiday engagement programme, 1 parent outreach programme and 1 assessment and intervention programme.

Objectives of programme:

• Addressing students’ social-emotional competencies
• Involving parents’ engagement
• Having a significant youth worker to support our students 4. Having supportive peers to encourage opportunities for peer bonding and peer influencing.

Outcome of the programme:

• Students to improve on relationship with peers
• Students to improve on learning attitude in class
• Inculcate sound values and deepen the social-emotional competencies to form caring and healthy relationships with parents and peers

REQUIREMENTS:

• MOE registered
• Must have at least a diploma in Diploma in Social Science (Social Work) or equivalent
• All Instructors should have preferably 2 years of coaching experience in similar programme.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel
• Strong Communication and inter-personal skills
• Candidates with relevant experience dealing with youth will be preferred.
• Singapore citizen
