The School of Art Design and Media (ADM) at NTU is seeking a part-time Research Associate for 1 month to investigate the cultural heritage of Thaipusam in Singapore. The candidate will collaborate PI on original research, contributing to surveys, sketches, 3D models, and illustrations. The role will involve attending team meetings, engaging with Thaipusam community members, and mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examination of visual documentation (photography, drawings, video materials)
• Conduct objects surveys and engage with members from the Thaipusam community
• Responsible for 3D Modelling (using AutoCAD and/or Sketch-up software) and output of documentation for publication
• Manage and archive digital three-dimensional representation and related documentation
• Coordination of research in conjunction with Research PI
• Mentor students in research

Job Requirements:

• Master in Art, Design or Museum Studies and relevant experience in working on similar research projects. Expert in Sketch-up and AutoCAD software.
• Advanced knowledge in 3D modelling and design, museum and heritage studies
• Knowledge in organizational research skills
