Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team in an efficient manner by working with the team members, teach and guide them where necessary for management expected performance.
• To review monthly management reports submitted by subordinates to ensure that they are error-free and completed on time.
• To review Income Tax and GST computations to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
• To review Audited Financial Statements to ensure they are error-free and the XBRL filing is filed on time.
• To review Annual Budget to ensure they are error-free and submitted to management on time.
• To review all loan covenants to ensure they are error-free and submitted to the lender on time.
• To focus on enhancing the current processes and improving control of risk.
• To manage and improve the reports submitted to stakeholders, manage their expectations and proactively trouble-shoot any issues plaguing the system.
• Find technology solutions, assist Senior Managers in implementing the finance part of new enterprise-wide IT applications and technology initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent disciplines, preferably with 6 years’ experience
• Good knowledge of Singapore Accounting Standards and Tax Regulations.
• Knowledge and experience in the implementation of and/or skill in using Oracle NetSuite would be an advantage.
• Meticulous & adhere to tight deadlines.
• Team player, excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicant should be Singaporean.
